What is Holistic Life Coaching?
What is Holistic Coaching?
I’ll be honest—just a year ago, I didn’t really know what coaching was. I’d been to healers, tried different therapies, and done plenty of personal work over the years… but I’d never even considered working with a life coach. I wasn’t sure what it meant, or how it could help.
Now, after completing my training as a Holistic Health Coach through the MindBodyFood Institute, I can say: this work has been transformational. It’s brought clarity, steadiness, and confidence—and it’s helped me shift things that felt stuck for years.
So if you’re not sure what coaching is—that’s okay. You’re not alone.
Here’s how I would describe it:
Coaching is a warm and collaborative space that helps you move forward—one small, meaningful step at a time.
Unlike therapy, which often focuses on the past, coaching is more concerned with the present and what’s next. We might gently acknowledge old patterns or stories, but we won’t stay stuck there. Instead, we ask: What’s possible now? What do you want more of? What’s one tiny shift you feel ready to make?
As a coach, I won’t tell you what to do. But I will walk beside you with care, curiosity, and practical tools that help you reconnect to your own inner guidance.
Through this work, you can:
- Learn to listen to your body’s signals
- Unravel old beliefs with compassion
- Rebuild your nervous system’s sense of safety
- Create nourishing habits that actually stick
- And begin to live from a place that feels more like you
What kind of things do people bring to work with in a coaching sessions?
🌿 What Kinds of Things Do People Bring to Coaching?
There’s no one right reason to begin coaching. Many women—both young and in midlife—come to me not because something is “wrong,” but because something inside them is ready for more space, more truth, or more peace.
Some are just beginning to find their voice in early adulthood. Others are reshaping their lives after years of caregiving, burnout, or putting themselves last. No matter the season, the desire is the same: to come home to what matters most.
Sometimes, we begin with words. Other times, it’s the body that speaks first.
Through somatic awareness and gentle practices, many clients are surprised to discover that insight, healing, and clarity don’t just come from thinking—but from listening to what the body has been holding all along.
Here are just a few things that clients bring into our sessions:
Who I Work With
You don’t need a diagnosis or a dramatic reason to begin.
Just a quiet knowing that you’re ready for something more aligned, more spacious, or more true.
I support women who are:
Discovering who they are and what they want in their 20s or 30s
Learning to set boundaries and speak with greater clarity and confidence
Navigating midlife, aging, or identity transitions with curiosity and care
Rebuilding self-trust after burnout, heartbreak, or major life shifts
Clearing emotional or physical clutter to create more space and calm
Feeling stuck in old patterns and longing for gentle change
Balancing the needs of aging parents and adult children
Ready to express themselves after years of staying small or silent
Exploring new ways to nourish their body, mind, and spirit
Longing for more joy, creativity, or spiritual connection
Wanting to slow down and return to what really matters
Needing a safe space to reflect, regroup, and move forward with intention
Learning how to go inward and connect with their own wisdom through somatic practices
Whatever season you’re in, we begin right where you are—with deep listening, presence, and a path that honors your pace.
Can I taste one session then continue with a series?
🌸 Why a Series of Sessions?
Transformation unfolds through time, trust, and consistency.
One session can bring insight—but a series allows us to gently go deeper, uncover patterns, and begin to create real, lasting change—both internally and externally.
When you commit to a coaching series, you give yourself:
A steady rhythm of support
Time to reflect and integrate between sessions
A space to return again and again to what’s true for you
Practices and tools that evolve alongside your real life
Most of my clients begin with a 3- or 5-session package, with the option to continue as life continues to unfold. This rhythm allows for depth, spaciousness, and lasting transformation.
That said—yes, you’re welcome to begin with just one session. Sometimes a single conversation is all it takes to remember what you already know and take the first step forward.
Coaching isn’t about fixing you. It’s about walking beside you as you reconnect with your own wisdom—one breath, one choice, one beautiful step at a time.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just need a little willingness to begin.
How and why do you help school teachers.
How do you help teachers—and why?
As a longtime educator myself, I understand the emotional toll and quiet exhaustion that often come with teaching. Many teachers are deeply intuitive, creative, and caring—yet feel overextended, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their own needs after years of holding space for others.
Through Coaching Into Full Bloom, I support teachers in coming back to themselves. Our work together offers space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your body, your values, and your inner wisdom.
Whether you're facing burnout, seeking more balance, or imagining what’s next beyond the classroom, our sessions provide:
A calm, nonjudgmental space to be heard
Tools for nervous system regulation and emotional clarity
Support for boundary-setting, voice, and self-compassion
Practices to help you restore energy and remember your worth
This work matters to me because it offers teachers the tools I didn’t have—practices that support not just survival, but renewal. I offer this with deep respect for all you hold, and with full permission to begin caring for yourself in a new way.
